MOONFLYOVER ART – Skeleton - The Useless Bicycle (resin, wood, acrylic, 21x27 cm)

An illustrative work of art, a symbolic play on words, which sheds light on a simple but still difficult to recognize thing: what we uselessly pursue or undertake, sooner or later becomes incapable of functioning. The wheels of our useless bicycle consist of a hollow Rubik's cube (unfolded at the front, waiting to be unfolded at the back), with orange slices in the middle, the seat is an inverted umbrella, connected by a "bone-frame" and a folded umbrella, none of which protects from the rain. Everything -is usable- but not together. One of the completed symbolist, surreal pieces from my own book, "The History of Modern Realities".

The message of the work: Often everything is simpler than we think, let's look at it from a different perspective.

It can be placed in our homes as an object so that we can incorporate its lessons into our daily lives.
We can also make it in smaller sizes.
